Nitrocellulose Disc Filters

 

Nitrocellulose membrane filters are composed of biologically inert mixtures of cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate polymers. Chemically compatible with dilute acids and bases, hydrocarbons and non-polar liquids. The uniform microporous structure of these filters makes it suitable for analysis of Biological and Organic Fluids, Analytical Sample Prep, HPLC, Composite assays, Content uniformity, Dissolution testing, Environmental samples and Food Analysis. Sigma-Aldrich offers chemical compatible nitrocellulose membrane filters with different diameter and pore sizes, suitable for analytical and research applications.

NYLON-66 DISC FILTERS

Nylon-66 membrane filters are hydrophilic nonmedia migrating and biologically inert plain white absolute retention membrane with a wide range of chemical compatibility.  Inherent quality of hydrophilicity of Nylon membranes eliminates the need of wetting agents that could be extracted when filtering aqueous solutions.

Pore size 0.45 µm is widely used for mobile phase filtration with aqueous, alkaline and organic solvents.
